Last night, Tampa Bay looked like the Devil Rays, not the Rays. It's amazing how such a potent offense just lost all their power within a few days. Maybe the Phillies offense last night was really the Rays in Phillies uniforms.

I think the Phils can finish it tonight, especially with Cole Hamels pitching. I think the curtain is closing for the Rays...but like you said, it's a month a magic. A Rays' comback is very possible.

Will the real Tampa Bay please stand up? I didn't think that Moyer and Blanton would own Tampa hitters like that. It is going to be a long tough road for the Rays!

Just because we're under 30 doesn't mean we don't know The Who. Baba O'Reilly anyone?

Are you close enough to see whether or not the umpires have eyes? Their calls are making me believe that they are all truly blind.

I'm here...down the third base side. Unbelievable scene when Howard jacked the three-run bomb. See my story about MLB and "The Who" -- that's a rock group for all you u30ws'ers -- at:

<a href="http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20081026&content_id=3646623&vkey=ps2008news&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb" rel="nofollow">http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20081026&content_id=3646623&vkey=ps2008news&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb</a>

Can the Rays make another run? Uh-oh, home run, here they come again...

Moyer is a guy that will really test the limits of the umpire's strike zone. He needs to get favourable calls to be effective.

I agree that the umpiring last night was ridiculous too. The Rays were having the swing at unhittable balls, low and away and down and in, all night long. I also noticed that Garza was not getting some calls on the outter half of the plate.

Also, Crawford was out on the bunt he put down late in the game, where Moyer made an outstanding play. All to be forgotten because of the umpiring!

Yeah, the umpires really have been poor throughout the playoffs. Tonight's play with Moyer is a back-breaker. You put that much effort in and actually get a guy like Crawford out, but don't get the correct call? In the World Series? That's ridiculous.

It also brings up the question of instant replay. Should the rules of instant replay be expanded in the World Series for all outs not related to the strike zone?
